JAMMU: Dr Parveen Kumar Gupta, Director Animal Husbandry Department (AHD) Jammu superannuated here on Tuesday after rendering 36 years of service. Gupta started his carrier as VAS Hiranagar in 1981 and served in various capacities in the Animal Husbandry Department and retired as HoD.
Dr. Shakti Gupta, Chief Animal Husbandry Officer, Reasi and Bodh Raj, Gestonator Operator also attained superannuation after rendering 35 and 40 years of service respectively.
The officers and staff of the Animal Husbandry Department Jammu wished the outgoing Officers/Officials a healthy post retirement life.
Meanwhile, Dr Kewal Krishan Bhardwaj took over as Director Animal Husbandry Department Jammu here today. He has served the department in various capacities and his last assignment being Joint Director ARV R.S Pura before taking over as Director Animal Husbandry Department Jammu.
Warm farewell was accorded to Surinder Singh Chauffeur and Chander Prabha Sharma, Head Assistant who retired from the government service on attaining the age of superannuation here. While speaking at the farewell function, the speakers wished the retiring officials a happy and prosperous post retirement life.
Vikram Dewan, Joint Director Funds Organisation accorded farewell on his attaining superannuation by the officers/accounts personnel and officials of Funds Organisation, Jammu.
The speakers praised Vikram Dewan for proving his mettle all along at various capacities in different departments in civil administration during his service tenure in the State Government.
President of National Mazdoor Conference (NMC), Subash Shastri along with team members namely Jaipaul Sharma, Om Parkash, Suraj Parkash, Surinder Kumar, Pawan Kumar, Shakti Kumar, Mohammad Sadeeq, Baldev Raj participated and wished him post retirement life.
S.S Lakhanpuria, Joint Director Agriculture (Extension) Jammu attained superannuation here today after serving for more than 38 years in various capacities in the Department of Agriculture.
Lakhanpuria was given a warm and graceful farewell at Krshi Bhawan, Jammu. The function started with the presentation of bouquets and mementos besides honouring with flower garlands by the Joint Directors of Agriculture and other senior officers of the department.
H.K Razdan, Director of Agriculture Jammu appreciated the working of the outgoing Joint Director and wished him a very happy and prosperous post retirement life.
Bulesh Zutshi, Joint Director of Agriculture (SLUB) Jammu and K.S Sambyal, Joint Director of Agriculture (Inputs) Jammu also spoke on the occasion.

The proceedings of the function were conducted by Rajesh Verma, AEO.
Jammu University SC/ST Employees Association extended affectionate farewell to Des Raj who retired on superannuation after rendering thirty five years of unblemished service in the University.
Association President, R.L Kaith and General Secretary, Surjeet Singh Heer appreciated the services he rendered in the University and wished him happy and prosperous life ahead.
Among others present were Messrs Milkhi Ram Malhotra, Sukhdev Bhagat, Kunj Lal, Vijay Kumar and Ram Dhan.
An official of Power Development Department, Parveen Kumar, who was retired from the post of Tech-III was given warm send off by the officials of PDD. Kumar has rendered 34 years of his service to the department.
T.P Singh, JE lauded the services of the retiring officer and wished him a happy and prosperous post retirement life. Vijay Kumar, Sanjeev Hans, Karanjit Singh, Jasbir Singh, Sanjay, Naresh and K.K Sharma were also present.
