The Bold Voice of J&K

Even as the relief and rescue operations in Kashmir have entered into crucial phase, the politicians have resorted to their time tested game of seeking of denying the credit. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has said that he is not bothered who gets the credit for these operations. He has, however, made a revelation that state helicopters have rescued 600 (out of the total 50,000 by the Army, Navy, IAF and National Disaster Manage-ment Group) people stranded in marooned areas.
Is it a matter of pride or shame for politicians to undermine the great effort of valiant soldiers in saving people from worst ever floods of history at a place called Kashmir where they have all along got bruises and abuses only?
