Rumour mongers have a field day in Kashmir. A self-styled news agency flashed a warning on Whatsapp asking people not to take anything before checking expiry date. So far so good! However, the message goes on further saying that food provided only by ‘volunteers’ should be consumed, as expiry date on packets (obviously airdropped by IAF) ‘has been erased’.
Is it a matter of pride or shame for the law enforcing agencies not to rein in such elements, whose mobile numbers are in the public domain, and take stringent action against them for vitiating the atmosphere at this hour of crisis in the Valley?
