JAMMU: To carry out various development works by IRCON under R-APDRP scheme, the power supply to Sohajana, Mandal, Flian, Kandwal, Surya Chak, Ganeshpur and adjoining area fed from 33KV Canal to Chatha Line shall remain affected on August 9, 11 and 13 from 7:00 AM to 12:00 Noon.
Meanwhile, to carry out work of replacement of worn out jumpers and droppers of 220 KV Transformer-II bay and bus coupler bay, the power supply to Grid Station Canal, Pouni Chak Katra, Rajouri, Draba, Jourian and Barn fed from 220 KV D/C Barn-Kishenpur Transmission Line 220/132/33 KV Grid Station Barn shall remain affected on August 10 from 6:00 to 9:00 AM. The areas affected shall be district Reasi, Rajouri, Poonch and parts of Jammu district. According to the Superintending Engineer, EM&RE Circle-II, Srinagar, power supply in the areas fed from receiving stations of Karan Nagar, Bemina-II, and PC Depo shall remain affected on August 12 from 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM due to necessary maintenance works.
