POONCH: Poonch XI and Chandak Cricket Club won their respective league matches in the ongoing Police Martyrs T20 Cricket Tournament being organised by District Police Poonch under Civic Action Programme at Government Degree College Ground, here on Tuesday.
In the first match, Poonch-XI outplayed Nangali Cricket Club by 10 wickets. Batting first after winning the toss, Nangali Cricket Club scored only 27 runs which in reply Poonch-XI chased comfortable without the loss of any wicket.
Chandak Cricket Club defeated Kanuyian Cricket Club by five wickets in another match.
Chandak Cricket Club, after winning the toss elected to field first. Kanuyian Cricket Club, batting first, scored 92 runs. Chasing the target, Chandak Cricket Club scored 93 runs for the loss of five wickets.
