Police seizes 1.75 Qtls polythene bags

JAMMU: Police on Thursday arrested one person and recovered 1.75 quintals of polythene bags from his possession.
According to a report, a police party from Rajbagh Police Station during a Naka near Chack Shaama intercepted one car bearing registration number PB35Q-0898.
During checking, police recovered 1.75 quintals of banned polythene bags from the car. The driver of the car was identified as Daljeet Singh, son of Jaswant Singh, resident of Model Town, Pathankot.
In this regard, a case FIR No 222/2017 under relevant sections were registered at Police Station Rajbagh and further investigation of the case is in progress.
The recovery was made by ASI Ajeet Singh, Incharge Police Post Kore Punnu under the supervision of Inspector Sarbjeet Singh, SHO Rajbagh, Ravail Choudhary SDPO Border Kathua and Sanjay Parihar Additional SP Kathua and over all supervision of SSP Kathua, Suleman Choudhary.
