UDHAMPUR: In a rare act of honesty, police on Friday restored a purse of lady having money and some documents.
According to the report, a 65 years old lady Fajoo wife of Ramzan Bhat resident of Jakheni Udhampur came District Hospital Udhampur and lost her purse having Rs 10,100 and some documents.
A constable Narinder Singh posted at Police Post in Hospital found the purse lying in hospital premises and informed Incharge SI Pritamn Singh. After search of the documents, they were able to identify the owner of the purse and handed it over to Fajoo in presence of DSP Headquarters Gourav Mahajan.
