JAMMU: PHE Workers Welfare Association decided to participate in the forthcoming protest of the State Government Employees Joint Action Committee to be held on 9th March 2016 in front of the Raj Bhawan Jammu in support of the demands of the employees.
This decision was taken in the meeting held here under the Provincial General Secretary of the Association, Subash Verma, here on Saturday.
In the meeting, the various demands of the PHE employees and workers have been discussed threadbare viz regularisation of all sorts of daily rated workers engaged before and after 1994, creation of welfare fund scheme, disbursement of month wise wages and conducting of DPC meeting.
The association has welcomed the State Government decision taken regarding the formation of Empower Committee which will consider the cases of casual/seasonal workers.
In this connection, association demanded to restore SRO-64 for early proceeding of the cases of daily rated, need based and CP workers.
The senior leaders of the association present in the meeting were Surjeet Singh, Ram Labhaya, Ajit Singh, Kulbushan Nandu, Kuldip Kumar, Raju Jamwal and Ravi Kumar.
