Peoples Republican Party to field 14 candidates in Assembly polls

JAMMU: Peoples Republican Party (PRP), a recently launched political party in Jammu and Kashmir, has decided to field fourteen candidates in the upcoming Assembly elections.
The aim of PRP is to change the electoral politics of the State by bringing in fresh ideas and acumen so that the era of political blackmail being unleashed in the State by the stagnant political system is ended and a new age of peace, prosperity is started as well as a corruption free system is put in place, PRP senior leader Kulbhushan Kaw told reporters, here on Tuesday.
PRP has vowed to provide a transparent and accountable system in place at all levels of governance, he said adding that it will promote and strengthen pluralism and diversity in the State.
PRP has envisaged a comprehensive and holistic roadmap for the displaced community of Kashmiri Pandits through construction of Dedicated Smart City for KPs in the Valley, passage of Temples and Shrines Bill, Minority status for Hindus, Christians and Sikhs, removal of encroached properties belonging to Pandits and economic passage for the displaced youth of Pandit community
He made a fervent appeal to all right thinking voters of the State to vote and support the candidates of the PRP so that the lot of general masses who have been constantly ignored by the succeeding governments is improved.
Reminding the conscious voters, Kaw said that these elections represent a shift in the political awakening as these elections will be solely fought on the plank of development and progress, instead of family and other emotive issues.
Kaw appealed to the voters of the Pandit community to cast their votes in favour of PRP candidates, Mir Ghulam Rasool from Ganderbal, Mir Mudasser from Devsar and Kulbhusan Kaw from Wachi Constituencies.
