JAMMU: Police on Tuesday arrested a PDP leader for allegedly raping a lady cop in Domana area. According to police, a lady police constable, a resident of Kathua district, had come to a relative’s house at Pouni Chak. In her statement to police, she said that the PDP leader Mohammad Shafi barged into the house in the absence of her family members. Firstly she was molested by him and later she was raped. Acting on the complaint, the police got conducted her medical examination and registered an FIR in this context. Acting swiftly, raids were conducted and the accused PDP leader was arrested.
