UDHAMPUR: In three different road accidents, one person died on the spot in Chenani while three others got injured on Jammu Srinagar National Highway in Udhampur on Monday.
According to a report, an unknown vehicle hit a passerby near Chenani Tunnel and fled from the spot. Victim was shifted to Sub-District Hospital Chenani where doctors declared him brought dead. The deceased was identified as Jagdish Kumar son of Soma resident of Chenani.
In another incident, a motorcycle (JK20-3574) was hit by a car (JK14E-2914) near Tikri in Udhampur resulting in biker and pillion rider getting injuries and were shifted to PHC Tikri from where doctors further referred them to District Hospital Udhampur. Injured were identified as Sanjay Kumar son of Sita Ram and Sumit Kumar son of Nanak Chand both residents of Jib-Thathi locality in Udhampur.
While, a Tanker (JK02AS-0995) fell into deep gorge near Bali Nallha locality in Udhampur resulting in driver getting injuries. He was shifted to District Hospital Udhampur. Udhampur and Rahmbal Police have registered the cases for investigations.
