REASI: Police on Monday arrested a person who was indulging in illicit distillation of liquor and recovered one and half litre Desi liquor from his possession.
According to a report, acting on a specific information that one Ganga Ram son of Bela resident of Tulli Banna Tehsil Chassana district Reasi is indulging in manufacturing and selling of Desi liquor at his home, a police team of Police Post Tulli Banna headed by In-Charge Police Post Tulli Banna conducted a raid in his house at village Tulli Banna and recovered one and half litre illicit Desi liquor from the possession of Ganga Ram.
The accused person was arrested a case vide FIR No. 36/2016 under section 48-(e) Excise Act was registered at Police Station Chassana.
