JAMMU: Continuing its mission against drug peddlers in Jammu District, Police Party of Police Post Narwal while patrolling in the Rajiv Nagar area apprehended one person who was moving under suspicious conditions & on seeing the police party,he tried to escape but the alert police party chased and over powered him.
During questioning, he disclosed his name as Biru, son of Suresh Kumar, resident of Rajeev Nagar,Narwal and on search 7 grams of heroin (Chitta) like substance was recovered from his possession.
Accordingly FIR No.59/2024 under sections 8/201/22 NDPS Act has been registered against him at Police Station Bahu Fort, Jammu.
