Navratra Festival at Lakshmi Narayan Temple concludes

JAMMU: The First Navratra Festival, hosted by Shri Lakshmi Narayan Temple Management Trust, Gandhi Nagar, concluded here last night with religious fervour and zeal.
During the auspicious occasion of Navratras, Shri Lakshmi Narayan Mandir Management Trust Gandhi Nagar, Jammu organised Navratra Festival in collaboration with Vodafone Mobile Company and Vardhman Jewelers under the guidance and supervision of Uma Katal, Director Rich Harvest School, Shastri Nagar, in which various artists, Kirtan Mandlis and cultural troops participated.
The main highlights of the celebrations were Chandi Maa Kirtan, Kud and Dandia Dances which enthralled the devotees.
Gulchain Singh Charak, former Minister and President of the Trust, appreciated the performing participants and thanked the organisers.
While concluding the function on the auspicious day of Asthmi in the evening of 9th of October, 2016 Vandana, Tribhu, Shivansh, Ahana, Ashna, Abhijay, Dr. Bhawna, Ramesh Thakur and Ritish and others were honoured and given the attractive prizes for their best performance in Dandia Dance and other activities.
The trustees S.C Rekhi, Deepak Gupta, S.P Arora, Prem Sharma, Vikram Bloria, Kapil Salathia, Gambhir Dev Singh Charak, Ramesh Thakur, P.C. Gupta, Harish Malhotra, Kulbhushan Bali and Parshant Sharma were also honoured for their contribution in different programmes, besides, Uma Katal, Sourab representative of Vodafone and Shashi Director-National Dance Institute. Uma Katal presented the vote of thanks.
