MENDHAR: Police on Saturday recovered a minor girl with 24 hours of kidnapping and arrested the kidnaper.
According to a report, on 24th March 2017, a written complaint was lodged by woman resident of Ghani Tehsil Mendhar that her minor daughter was kidnapped by one Mohd Jameel son of Mohd Zabair resident of Dharana Mendhar. On this, a case vide FIR No 52/17 under section 363 109 RPC was registered and investigation taken up.
On the directions of Sr Supdt of Police Poonch, Rajeev Pandey, a special team headed by Insp Abid Rafiqui SHO Police Station Mendhar was constituted and after hectic efforts the kidnapped minor girl was recovered from Bufliaz area of Surankote. Accused has also been arrested and the minor girl has been resorted to her family for medical examination.
