UDHAMPUR: In a road accident a middle aged person was hit by an unknown speeding vehicle near Tikri on National Highway in Udhampur in wee hours. Victim received fatal injures and died.
According to reports an known vehicle hit a middle aged person identified as Param Chand son of Shankar Dass resident of village Lehnoo at Tikri in Udhampur. Sources disclosed that victim has received multiple injures and died on the spot. Victim was shifted to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared him brought dead. Police handed over the body to his family members after conducting autopsy. However police registered a case and launched the investigation.
