SUNDERBANI: MGNREGA scheme was introduced for providing employment to the villagers and side by side carry out the developmental works for the common public use without using any machinery and plants.
In the case of Panchayat Makole at a distance of 20 kilometers from Sunderbani all the norms of the scheme have been flouted by the Rural Development Department . The department instead of giving employment to the villagers, has employed the labour from outside the state by using the JCB and giving benefit to single family and large amount of fund is being misused. The residents of village Makole have demanded that an inquiry should be conducted to highlight the irregularities, misuse of the funds and depriving villagers of their right.
