JAMMU: Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti, on Wednesday expressed grief over the sad demise of Kamla Advani, wife of veteran BJP leader and former Deputy Prime Minister of India, L.K Advani.
She was admitted in AIIMS, New Delhi, where she breathed her last after suffering a cardiac arrest.
“I convey my heart-felt condolences to L.K Advani over the passing away of his life’s companion and pray that Almighty gives him courage to bear this irreparable loss,” the Chief Minister said in her message.
She also expressed solidarity with the bereaved family members and prayed for peace to the departed soul.
Jammu and Kashmir National Conference President Dr Farooq Abdullah and Working President Omar Abdullah expressed grief over the passing away of Kamala Advani, wife of former Deputy Prime Minister and BJP patriarch L.K Advani.
Conveying their condolences to Lal Krishan Advani, the National Conference President and Working President prayed for peace to departed soul and strength to family to bear this irreparable loss.
State BJP unit expressed deep sorrow and shock over the sad demise of Kamla Advani, wife of BJP veteran leader Lal Krishan Advani.
In an official handout, BJP State President Sat Sharma CA, while condoling the demise of Kamla Advani, said that the entire leadership of State BJP stands with the bereaved family in this hour of grief and pray Almighty to give strength to bear the loss caused by her death.
Sat said that Kamla Advani had been a pillar of strength to one of the tallest leader of BJP, Lal Krishan Advani. She had been the support behind the scenes to the BJP veteran leader for more than fifty years. During this period, Kamla Advani was one of the big support to her husband’s political carrier, which inspired and enabled him to lead the party to great heights in the Indian politics.
