REASI: Police on Thursday arrested a person and recovered 5 litres of illicit liquor from his possession.
According to a report, a specific information was received at Police Station Chassana that a person carrying illicit liquor from village Tulli towards Chassana for its sale. On this information, a police party led by Gurvinder Singh, SHO Police Station Chassana rushed to the spot and seized five litres of illicit liquor from the possession of Punjab Singh son of Rattan Singh resident of Tulli Tehsil Chassana District Reasi. The accused person was arrested and a case vide FIR No. 11/2017 under section 48-(A) Excise Act was registered at Police Station Chassana against him.
