JAMMU: A low intensity earthquake on Tuesday hit Kathua district. “An earthquake of magnitude 3.6 on the Richter scale this morning shook the Kathua district of Jammu region,” an official here said.
He said the tremors were felt early morning, at around 5.48 am. “No loss of life or damage to property has been reported so far from anywhere across the district,” he added.
