JAMMU: Eight girls of KC Public School (KCPS) took part in the CBSE North Zone II Inter-School Swimming Competition 2016 hosted by Montessori Cambridge School, Pathankot (Punjab).
KCPS girls performed well and won a bronze medal each in a variety of events. The team led by Swimming Coaches Babita Rani and Thakur Singh consisted of Diya Khajuria, Samya Vaid, Sanvi Andotra, Yatiksha Tandon, Akshita Mengi, Arya Jalali and Garima Bhat. In a special assembly held on Tuesday morning, Principal, Amarendra Mishra congratulated the girls for their commendable performance at the meet and distributed their certificates and medals in front of school mates.
