JAMMU: KC Public School (KCPS) and Army Public School (APS) Domana won their respective matches on the second day of the Sportathon Cup 2016, an Inter School multi-sports competitions, organised by KC Sports Club in the indoor cricket hall of the Club, here on Tuesday.
In the first indoor match, KC Public School outplayed K C International School by 38 runs.
Batting first after winning the toss, KC Public School set a target of 56 runs in 10 overs. Sampark was the top scorer with 26 runs while Prabal and Aryan made 10 and six runs respectively. For KC International, Mohsin and Omar shared two wickets each. In reply, KC International failed to chase the target and made just 18 runs. K Artavya and Mohsin made five runs. For KCPS, Aryan and Sampark shared three wickets each.
In second match, APS Domana trounced St. Xavier School by nine runs. APS Domana, Batting first, made 37 runs in 10 overs. Aashim was the top scorer with 15 runs while Anmol and Saatvik scored eight and six runs respectively. For St. Xavier, Pars and Vishav shared three wickets each. In reply, St Xavier was all out at 28 in 9.3 overs and lost the match. Arya scored five runs and Vishav and Nikhil made three runs each.

U-14: Diviyan (Delhi Public School) 1st, Tanmay and Saawn (KCPS) joint 2nd and Abijay (Heritage) 3rd. 50 mtr Back Stroke U-16: Lilly Bahu (KCPS) 1st, Arnav Ray (KCPS) 2nd and Aamil (Heritage) 3rd. U-14: Satyam (KC International) 1st, Sushant (KCPS) 2nd and Mujtaba Ull (KCPS) 3rd.
GIRLS: 100 mtr Free Style U-16: Akshita Mengi (KCPS) 1st, Yatiksha Tondon (KCPS) 2nd and Sehjan Kour (Delhi Public School) 3rd. U-14: Mehar Malik (Heritage) 1st, Komal Chadha (Heritage) 2nd and Vrinda (KC International) 3rd. 25 mtr Butterfly U-16: Kumkum Joshi (KCPS) 1st, Primiti Digra (KCPS) 2nd and Navya (KCPS) 3rd. U-14: Anika (KCPS) 1st, Samya Vaid (KCPS) 2nd and Stutui Jamwal (Delhi Public School) 3rd. Individual Medley U-16: Yatiksha (KCPS) 1st, Akshita Mengi (KCPS) 2nd and Kumkum Joshi (KCPS) 3rd. U-14: Diya Khajuria (KCPS) 1st, Samya Vaid (KCPS) 2nd and Anika Gandotra (KCPS) 3rd.
