KATRA: Wrestler Kaka of R S Pura and Minda of Pathankot in Punjab shared the main bout in the 10th Annual Patiri-Bishnah Dangal 2016 which was organised by Patiri Dangal Committee in association with J and K Indian Style Wrestling Association at village Patiri in Block Bishnah of Jammu District. The main bout, which lasted for 27 minutes, could not be decided resulting into organisers gave away Rs 15,000 each to Kaka and Minda. The prizes were given away by President of J&K Indian Style Wrestling Association, Shiv Kumar Sharma, who was Chief Guest. Tehsildar Bishnah, Rafiq Jaral Ahmed and Naib Tehsildar Arjun Singh were the Guests on Honour. A total of 44 bouts were played in the event. The second main bout was won by Nisar of Doda who defeated Johnny of Attari, Amritsar. Another second bout was played between Ishaq Ahmed (Lallu) of Bajrangi Akhara Jammu and Inderjeet of Amritsar which ended in a draw. Third bout was won by Amir Khan of Bajrangi Akhara Jammu who defeated Mohd. Sadiq of Domana Akhara. Prithvi Raj Sharma, and wrestling promoter Ram Paul Sharma and Sarpanch Surjit Singh Charak were also present. The proceedings of the Dangal were conducted by Mohd. Fareed while welcome address was presented by (Retd.) JE Surinder Sharma.
The vote of thanks was presented by Prithvi Raj sharma. Members and technical officials who helped for conduct of this one day Dangal included JE Surinder Sharma (President of Dangal Committee), Joginder Sharma, Ram Paul Sharma, Mohan Lal Shama, Jagdish Raj Sharma, Choudhary Prem Singh, P.R Sharma, Mohd. Fareed, Murli Dhar (Munna), Sunny (Airtel), Abja Sharma, Banna Ram Bhagat and Choudhary PK.
Others Results: Roshan Lal Sharma of J&K Police defeated Mohd. Zakker of Sarore, Bhalla of Attari Border Amritsar beat Babba of Kot Bhawal, Nisar Bajrangi Akhara beat Manjoor of Samilpur, Sujjan Ali (Balli) beat Niklesh of R S Pura, Anku of Shanti Nagar Jammu beat Deepu of Domana, Murad Ali of Domana beat Panku of Marh, Akram of Chouadhi beat Sethi of R S Pura. Bouts played between Bobari of Sarore and Shinda of Amritsar, Mam Hissian of Bishnah and Billu of Domana and Sahil of Amritsar and Kalu of Bishnah ended in a draw.
