JAMMU: On the instructions of Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation, Dr. Manmohan Singh and under the supervision of Joint Commissioner (Administration), R.S Jamwal, the enforcement staff conducted an exclusive drive for the removal of hoardings, signboards, billboards and banners which had been displayed / erected upon public places for advertisement unauthorizedly.
During the drive, the team removed hoardings, sign boards, banners etc from the public places / poles which were installed / displayed by various business establishments, institutions, agencies, firms etc without permission in different areas under the jurisdiction of Jammu Municipal Corpor-ation and seized two truck loads of material and impounded it to the municipal yard at Town Hall, Jammu.
