JAMMU: Five-year-old niece of Jammu based journalist Mohit Kandhari working with national daily The Pioneer, passed away at Gurgaon on Sunday morning.
Mridini, the brave child was fighting with the dreaded disease for the last more than three years. She breathed her last today morning in a hospital at Gurgaon after bone marrow transplant. Her last rights have been performed at Gurgaon.
Mohit’s elder brother and father of 5-year-old Mridini, Rohit Kandhari, a BITS Pilani Graduate working with Nokia India, is settled at Bangalore. Mohit, grandfather P K Kandhari, retired SBI Manager and all other family members were in Gurgaon at the time of her death. The doctors had put her on ventilator on Friday following multiple organ failure.
Media fraternity in the State has conveyed their heartfelt condolences to the family. May God give eternal peace to the departed soul and courage to the family members to bear this irreparable loss.
