JAMMU: Hero FC routed Vijay Club FC and J&K Bank Academy outplayed Jammu United FC in the ongoing 14th Christmas Gold Cup Football tournament-2020 organised by All J&K Christian Welfare Association at GGM Science College Ground here on Friday.
The first match of the day was played between Vijay Club FC and Hero FC which was won by Hero FC by two goals to nil. First goal was scored by Mukesh in 35th min followed by Lakshit, who scored second goal in 75th minute. Yellow card was shown to Harmajot Singh of Vijay Club FC.
The second match was played between JK Bank Academy and Jammu United FC. J&K Bank Academy won the match by three goals to nil. The goals were scored by Nitin (22nd min), Bhanu Pratap (32nd min) and Prem Kumar (55th min).
Yellow Cards were shown to Bishabjeet of Jammu United and Rajan Singh and Divanshu of JK Bank Academy.
Today’s matches were officiated by Koushal Kumar, Rinku Gill, Romesh Sethi and Mohinder Kalsi.
Dr. Atul Hans (Principal IDRS) was the Chief Guest in todayls matches which were also witnessed by Narinder Gupta (former Member Sports Council), Yousaf Don (Organizing Secretary), David Masih (Direct Member), Featus Sotra (General Secretary), Amarjeet Singh (Baba Travels), Ashu (Book Centre), Moon Stephen (Coach), Mohan Lal (Direct Member), Joel Bunty and Harbans Lal.
