JAMMU: Scores of unemployed youth of physical education on Friday held a protest against the government demanding of implementation of Rehbar-e-Khel Scheme in the State as promised by former CM, Late Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
Protesting under the banner of Jammu and Kashmir Unemployed Physical Education and Sports Association (JKUPESA), youth demanded an explanation from the authorities on why implementation of this scheme has been pending since 2005. Firdous Hussain, Chief Spokesperson of the Association said that government should take immediate steps to implement Rebar-e-Khel in the State.
“Some of us are already near age bar and we demand that the scheme should be implemented before starting of next year education session,” he said.
