JAMMU: Goenkans excelled in kick boxing championship organized by the Haryana Kick Boxing Association at Faridabad. The national championship was organsied from 17th to 21st December, 2014.Of the 13 students from G D Goenka Public School took part six of them bagged medals in Cadet and Senior category of the National Kick Boxing Championship
Rudraksh Sharma (Class V) bagged the prestigious Gold Medal followed by Jivitesh Syal (Class VII) a Silver Medal. Shivam Chauhan (Class VII), Danish Kumar (Class X) , Teekshan Sharma (Class VI), Amay Pujari (Class VI) all Bronze Medals.
The students were coached and guided by their Kick Boxing Coach, Danish Padha who also bagged a Gold Medal in the professional Kick Boxing Championship. He was also appointed as the Technical official at the event.
Principal Dr. R. P Singh congratulated all the winners and the participants.
