KISHTWAR: Keeping in view of ongoing Annual Machail Yatra, Majlis-e-Shoura Kishtwar deferred shutdown call and protest against Kashmir killings and unrest.
According to reports, the shutdown call was deferred till Monday and further course of action will be decided by the Shoura committee after Monday. The move is aimed to promote communal harmony and brotherhood in communally sensitive Kishtwar District.
Earlier people of Kishtwar observed shutdown on numerous occasions in support of civilians killed and injured in Kashmir unrest; besides also held protest to extend its support to people of Kashmir.
