JAMMU: Extension lecture on ‘Power factor’ was delivered by Dean Academic Affairs, Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET), B.R Verma to the 5th Semester Electrical and Electronics Engineering students of IECS and North Polytechnic, Purkhoo Camp, on Thursday.
Verma said while improving the power factor, the transmission efficiency is increased due to reduction in power loss and reduction in voltage drop.
Prominent among other senior faculty members present during the session were Ajay Singh Jamwal Dean Administration, IECS, Prof. K.G Gupta, Principal-IECS and Prof. K.R Sharma, Principal- North Polytechnic.
