UDHAMPUR: There is overwhelming need for emergency help to those affected by the flood, the District Development Commissioner, Udhampur Yasha Mudgal said in the meeting of all officers of Education Department in the Udhampur District at conference hall.
She appealed to all officers of the Education Department to donate generously and cooperate with the administration to tackle with the situation arisen due to heavy rains and floods. The DDC asked for clothes, blankets, food items and kitchen sets etc for the flood victims.
Mudgal further informed that the District Administration Udhampur has opened Donors Disaster Relief Fund Account at J&K Bank limited, Main Branch, Udhampur bearing Account No. 0028040100031495 (IFSC Code – JAKA0UDMPUR) for collecting donations for the flood victims.
During the meeting, she also informed that Ashok Khajuria and Amit Vermani have been appointed as nodal officers for cash and material management respectively for recently flood victims in the district.
