REASI: Police on Wednesday arrested a drug peddler and recovered 180gms of poppy straw and 20 gms of Charas from his possession.
According to a report, a police party under the supervision of Dy. SP Ops. Iftkhar Ahmed and In-charge SHO Police Station Rajouri SI Munshi Khan on the direction of SSP Rajouri Dr. Mohd Haseeb Mughal laid a Naka at Khandli Bridge.
During checking, police apprehended one notorious drug peddler namely Abdul Gafoor son of Mohd Hussain resident of Nagrota and recovered 180gms of poppy straw and 20 gms of Charas from his possession which he was smuggling via interior street of city.
The drug peddler was arrested and a case under FIR No 292/2015 section 8, 20, 21, 22 NDPS Act was registered at Police Station Rajouri.
