JAMMU: DPS Jammu participated in Inter School Basketball Tournament organised by District Youth Sports and Services, J&K held at M.A Stadium on August 28, 2017.
DPS Jammu team played their first match against JK Public School, Jammu and won by 16-01. The final match was played between APS Akhnoor and DPS Jammu wherein DPS Jammu was declared as runner up and won silver medal. The team members include
Aryaman Chopra (X-B), Umang Gupta (XI-G), Sukhjeet Singh (XII-B), Naman Jain (XII-C), Rajpratap Singh (XII-H), Udai Bhat (XI-G), Pranav Saini (XII-D), Anubhav Jain (XII-H), Adhiveer (XI-A), Anish Suri (X-J), Gazanfar (X-G) and Keshav Dev Singh (X-H).
Meanwhile; Umang Gupta and Anubhav Jain have been selected for the District level to be held later. Principal, DPS Jammu, Ruchi Chhabra congratulated the winners and the coach Shubham Bhardwaj and appreciated their performance.
President, RCT, M.K Ajatshatru Singh, PVC Ritu Singh and Director, S.S Sodhi also extended their best wishes to the team.
