VIJAYPUR: Ashok Kumar, SSP JKPS Principal PTTI Vijaypur delivered a lecture to the staff and trainees of BRTC of section-B of Telecommunication Wing on the topic ‘Prevention of Corruption’ on Wednesday, the 3rd day of Vigilance Awareness Week.
While speaking on the occasion Principal PTTI Vijaypur threw light on prevalent ways/ causes/effects of corruption in the society and suggested various remedial measures to curb this menace. He also cited valuable thoughts of eminent scholars, which enrich the moral values of the common masses and helps preventing corruption.
Effects of different scams and scandals that took place in the country were discussed which brought bad name to the reputation of the country at International level. Principal inspired the staff/trainees to pledge ‘Don’t take don’t give bribe’ to ensure that we are able to make country a corruption free. He said, yesterday all the staff (Admn/Indoor/Outdoor staff) were briefed about various methods adopted to curb the menace of corruption, so that justice is delivered instantly and also discussed the role of Departmental Vigilance Officers (DVOs) which helps pre-empting such mal-practices.
