POONCH: Jammu to clash with district Poonch in the under-17 section of divisional level sports meet in the discipline of football, organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS), got underway at Boys Higher Secondary School, here on Monday. In under-14 category, district Jammu to meet with district Reasi.
Earlier, in first semifinal of u-17 category, Jammu trounced Kathua by 2-1 and Poonch beat samba 6-1 in second semifinals. In under-14, Jammu defeated Kathua by 6-1 and Reasi blanked Poonch by 3-0.
The dignitaries present were Tilak Raj, Observer, Department of Youth Service and Sport Jammu, Chairman, Shaheed Manjit Singh Club, Poonch, Mohd Tariq Khan, Prem Parkash Luthera, Mohinder Bali and Jatinder Sharma.
