JAMMU: Ex Central Paramilitary Force Welfare Association (CPFWA) urged the Central and State Government to keep promises and grant genuine and fundamental rights on top priority to the ex-paramilitary force at the earliest.
“In case our demands are not met we are going on indefinite strike, the responsibility shall go to the apathy of Government of India,” President of the Association, Shashi Sharma warned. Talking to reporters here on Tuesday, Sharma reminded Prime Minister, who said that if the Central Paramilitary Force are given the pay and perk equal to the defence forces, then the defence forces will get raged, that the defence forces and central paramilitary force have been created under the provisions of same Constitution and defending the same country. “We are lacking a understanding as to why the defence force personnel are getting angry while government is giving equal rights to them,” he said. “The BJP government is habitual to take U-turn on all the promises given during the election and through the manifestos,” he said. “No ex-Central Paramilitary Force, Veer Naris and their dependents shall vote BJP, besides this, well versed team is being sent to UP and Punjab to motivate the voters not to vote for BJP but for Samajwadi Party in UP for Congress in Punjab,” he declared. He also appealed to all the ex Central Paramilitary Force retired personnel, Veer Naris and dependents of all the states to reach at Jantar Mantar, New Delhi on 31st July 2016 at 11:00 PM to wake up the Modi led Union Govt, to refrain from disparity, discrimination and division of forces.
