AKHNOOR: As part of Sadbhavana programme, ‘Guardians of LC Brigade’ organised an educational and motivational tour to cultural and heritage rich places like OTA Gaya and Kolkata (Fort Wiiliam) for 23 students and three teachers representing Govt High School, Kot Maira, Panjgrain and Khoi Milan from Akhnoor Sub Division.
Commander, Guardians of LC Brigade flagged off the tour in a colourful ceremony. During the flagging off ceremony local population from various villages were present to witness the historical moment. The children will visit places like Bodh Gaya, Vishnu Temple, Narmada Temple, Kali Ghat, Bellur Math and Dakshineshwar Temple, tourist places like Diamond Harbor, Alipore Zoo, Park Street market, Eden Gardens, historical places like Fort William and places of entertainment like Nicco Park, South City mall. Visit to OTA Gaya will also motivate children to join army.
