SRINAGAR: Railway Police Kashmir has arrested a bootlegger and recovered illicit liquor from his possession.
Railway Police Kashmir during its routine frisking and checking of passengers and their luggage at Railway Station Banihal recovered 95 pouches of illicit liquor from the possession of Shabir Ahmad Ganaie, son of Fayaz Ahmad Ganaie resident of Kather Gund, Budgam. The accused has been taken into custody and a case FIR number 2/2016 under Section 48 Excise Act has been registered against him and further investigation has been taken up.
