JAMMU: First Additional Sessions Judge Jammu M.A Chowdhary rejected the bail application of heroin smuggler.
According to the police report that on 1st September, 2016, during a naka at Dogra Chowk Jammu Police caught Abdul Latief alongwith one Mandeep Singh. On their search, heroin weighing nine grams from Abdul Latief and six gram from Mandeep Singh were recovered and a case under sections 8/21/22 of NDPS Act.
Court after hearing APP Ajay Singh Manhas for the state observed the menace requires to be checked through strengthening the reinforcement. With these observations court rejected the bail application of Abdul Latief, son of Abdul Gani.
