JAMMU: Anu Sharma of district Kathua maintained a comprehensive lead in Women’s Air Rifle event in the ongoing Seventh J and K State Shooting Championship, organised by J and K Rifle Association in collaboration with Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDSB), at Sports Stadium, here on Saturday.
She has already secured 366 points out of a total of 400. Similarly, Manish Kumar of Jammu District was leading in Men’s Air Pistol event obtaining a score of 360/400.
Another promising shooter from Jammu District, Khusbhu has maintained her lead in Pistol in Youth category by securing 347/400 points. In Junior boys’ category, Abhay Gupta of Jammu District leads with 359/400 points in Air Pistol event.
