S. K. Mishra, DGP (Prisons) has been transferred posted as Special DG (Coordination).
S. Gopal Reddy, on deputation to Teleangana has been posted as Commandant General, HG/CD/SDRF.
S. P. Vaid, ADGP (Hqrs), PHQ has been transferred as DGP (Prisons).
V. K. Singh, ADGP (Security) has been transferred posted as ADGP (Hqrs).
S. M. Sahai, ADGP (Armed) has been transferred posted as ADGP (CID) against an available vacancy. The salary of the officer holding the post of ADGP (Trgs) will be drawn against the post of ADGP Homeguards/CD/SDRF.
Dilbag Singh awaiting orders of posting has been posted as ADGP (Security).

SAC approves promotions in Police, Forest Deptt
The State Administrative Council (SAC) which met here on Thursday under the Chairmanship of Governor N.N. Vohra approved the promotions in Police administration.
Dr. S. Gopal Reddy (IPS-85) and S.P Vaid (IPS-86) have been promoted to the grade of Director General of Police (DGP). Dr. S. Gopal Reddy has been promoted notionally from 1st January 2016 and regularly from the date he joins the State cadre and S.P Vaid has been promoted with effect from 1st January, 2016.
R.R Swain (IPS-91) and A.K Choudhary (IPS-91) have been promoted to the Higher Administrative Grade of IPS (ADGP) w.e.f 1st January 2016. Manmohan Singh (IPS-99) (retired) has been promoted to the Super Time Scale-(i) (DIG) from 1st January 2013 to 3rd September 2013 against an available vacancy and from 4thSeptember 2013 to 30th November against the post of DIG created on supernumerary basis.
Uttam Chand (IPS-2002) has been promoted to the Super Time Scale -(i) (DIG) w.e.f 1st January 2016.
Vidhi Kumar Birdi (IPS-2003) and Keshav Ram (IPS-2003) have been promoted to the Selection Grade of IPS w.e.f 1st January 2016.
Sandeep (IPS-2012) and Sargun (IPS-2012) have been promoted to the Senior Time Scale of IPS w.e.f 1st January 2016.
Meanwhile, the DAC approved the release of Super Time Scale-1 (CF Grade) in favour of P.K Raghav (IFS-2001) on proforma basis w.e.f from 1st January, 2015 and Shally Ranjan (IFS-2001) on regular basis w.e.f 1st January, 2015.
SAC also approved release of non-functional Grade Pay, attached to the post of Joint Secretary in the Central Government i.e. Grade of Rs 10,000 in favour of Vasu Yadav (IFS-94) w.e.f. 13th October, 2014 in terms of Rule-3 of IFS (Pay) (2nd Amendment) Rules, 2010.
