JAMMU: Continuing crackdown on suspects and accused involved in the Greater Kailash Murder Case, Jammu Police on Monday seized two vehicles involved in the commission of crime and conducted raids at houses of suspects.
Three accused, including two property dealers Raghu and Sanjay, who are involved in murder of Avtar Singh are absconding, police said.
Moreover, CCTV footage of the area around the scene of crime was looked at and relevant evidences have been picked up digitally.
Meanwhile, the Jammu Police is grilling notorious land grabber Ravinder Kumar Gupta alias Gola Shah, his son Rajat Jandyal, ex Ex-SSP Sheikh Mehmood, Parshtom Singh alias Nikka, Suraj Singh, son of Parshtom Singh, Sandeep Charak, Vikas Singh.
Registry papers, land maps, revenue record found from the residence of Gola Shah are also being scrutinized. Names of senior officers, prominent citizens figure during investigation into the case of illegal land sales, sources said, adding, “police is tightlipped over the matter.”
