JAMMU: Department of Chemistry, School of Sciences Cluster University of Jammu (CLUJ) organized debate competition under the aegis of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav (AKAM) under the guidance of Coordinator Chemistry Dr. Deepali Mahajan. The event was organized by Chemistry UG students of 5th Semester.
The topics of the debate were Aatmnirbhar Bharat and Prepoll freebies. The Dean Academic Affairs Dr Naveen Anand was the Chief Guest. Dean of Counselling Cell, Prof. DS Manhas was also present on the occasion. Dr. Shalima Gupta and Dr. Ruby Verma were the judges.
Ahsan Ulhaq stood first while Vishal Singh bagged second prize and Anvisharma got third spot, Neha Singh stood fourth.
Those who awarded consolation prizes on the occasion include Kartik Sharma, Akshita Sharma, Sonia Sharma and Sonakshi.
In the prize distribution, trophies, medals and certificates distributed to winners. The event was hosted by Sohail Abbas and Muskan Sharma.
