Charak intensifies election campaign in Bishnah

BISHNAH: Congress Party intensified its election campaign by holding a series of public meetings in the border town Arnia and adjoining villages.
A public meeting was organised at Arnia town during the day, while a meeting especially involving youth of this border belt was held at village Changiya in the afternoon. These meetings were attended by the Sarpanchs, Panchs, and Congress workers besides the people comprising women, youth and elders. Congress leaders led by Gulchain Singh Charak highlighted the local issues.
Speaking during a public meeting organised in the Arnia town, Charak underlined the suffering of people due to heavy and indiscriminate firing recently by Pakistan causing loss of life and property, damage (fully or partially) to several houses in the border area , destruction of their standing crops, loss of live stock etc.
Charak in assured the villagers that, if elected, it will be his sincere effort to take up with the government for the redressal.
