Cable operators were directed that the preparations with regard to migration from analog to digital mode shall be reviewed in a time bound manner.
The cable operators informed the meeting that they have procured some of the equipments and are in the process of acquiring further within two months so that the target is achieved well before 31st of Dec 2015.
For mass awareness about the programme, DDC told that the District Information Officer Ramban in coordination with other departments and cable operators shall organise awareness events at all the municipalities of the district so that common public can be motivated to shift to digital mode.
