JAMMU: Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front asked State BJP-PDP Coalition Government to clear its stand on the rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandit community in a satellite township.
A joint meeting of the Jagti Tenement Committee and Soan Kashmir Front was held under its President Shadi Lal Pandita here on Monday.
Pandita condemned the statement of political leaders and separatist leaders who have been demanding rehabilitation of the Kashmiri Migrant Pandit community families in their native localities. He said that it is not viable to resettle the KP migrants at their native localities due to prevailing tumultuous circumstances.
He demanded comprehensive compensation for the losses being suffered by the KP migrants for the last 25 years due to migration from Kashmir Valley.
