JAMMU: Criticizing the Vice Chancellor of University of Jammu over recently remark on Burhan Wani, the slain terrorist of Hizbul Mijahidin who was killed by Security Force in the month of July in Anantnag, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarathi Parishad (ABVP) today held a strong protest against him.
Scores of ABVP Jammu Mahanagar activists held a rally from MAM College to Bikram Chowk and burnt the effigy of JU VC for his statement on terrorist Burhan Wani.
Addressing the media, Piyush Khajuria and Ankul Bhagat said that this is very unfortunate that VC has given the statement in favour of a terrorist and demanded his immediate removal. Deepak Gupta , Abhinav Pandotra, Sidharth, Vishal, Sahil, Sunny Rajput and Vidash were also present.
