SUNDERBANI : The young leader Sushil Sudan who conducted an extensive tour of the border area of Sunderbani and Nowshera alleged that the Coalition Government headed by Omar Abdullah has totally ignored this area and no relief has been provided to the victims of incessant rains and floods.
He specifically criticised the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for not visiting the Nowshera Sub District where hundreds of people died in one stroke during flash flood in Lam – Darhal. He alleged it as step motherly treatment towards border people.
He also said that the victims who are without shelter have not been provided tents, blankets or other relief items for the last one week adding that revenue teams have not reached the village Dandani, in Tehsil Sunderbani on the bank of furious Manawar Tawi where people lost their houses.
Sudan demanded that State Government should provide immediate help to all the sufferers.
