UDHAMPUR: In a road accident, one teenager boy died while another got critically injured when their scooty was hit by an unknown vehicle near DC Office in Udhampur.
According reports, a Scooty (JK14D-5424) was hit by an unknown vehicle near DC Office Udhampur resulting in both the rider and pillion rider getting injured. Both the injured were shifted to District Hospital Udhampur where Naresh Kumar son of Surat Singh resident of Ramnagar at present staying at Shiv Nagar Udhampur succumbed to his injures, while Sourab Kumar resident of Udhampur is under treatment. Body of the dead was kept in mortuary. Police has registered a case and launched investigation.
SAMBA: Two persons were injured when a truck bearing registration number PB06-8666 hit a tractor without number near Budwani Morh Samba. Both the injured were rushed to government district hospital Samba from where both were further referred to GMCH Jammu being in critical condition.
Injured were identified as Gaigi (45) son of Bishan Dass residents of Diani (Samba) and Gopal Dass (37) son of Prem Chand. Samba police has registered the case in this regard for further investigation.
