Students of GGM Sc College protest for deferring UG exams

JAMMU: Students under the banner of GGM Science College Students Union held a protest against University of Jammu demanding deferment of Under Graduate (UG) Examinations.
The protest was led by Vikram Singh Chib. He said that in Semester System there should be minimum 6 months class work for completion of a semester but in the present case only 30 to 35 days of class work has been completed and minimum of four months of class work is yet to be completed with large proportion of syllabus still pending. He suggested to continue with the class work to finish the pending syllabus rather than going for examinations.
Vikram threatened to continue with the protest until the dates of UG Examinations are not deferred and the teachers agree to cover the pending syllabus. Clinton, Sagar, Vivek, Vikas, Ratesh, Shubham, Pranav, Kirth, Jamwal, Laksh, Mathur, Anirudh, Lalit, Shrone, Abhi, Opinder, Jugal Kishore, Avinash, Vishav, Robin, Akash, Nishant, Amit, Sahil, Rahul, Kuldeep, Rajesh and Manish were also present.
